Doomsday Vault

Have you seen "2012" movie? I'm sure you still remember that there are 5 arks to save mankind from the DoomsDay...I think, the vault from Norway has the same point as the ark does, the different is, the ark for keeping human, the vault for keeping seeds. Doomsday Vault that was built in the mountain of Svalbard Mountain, Norway.

A strong building, in the North Pole, has function as a place to keep seeds from all over the world, officially functioned. The facility said as DoomsDay Vault, has made in a frost mountain on Svalbard Island, Norway, 1100 kms from North Pole.

If oneday, a huge disaster happens until destroy all the food source, seeds in the vault can help human to maintain the food and save us from starving.

This vault has 127,5 meters can contain 4,5 millions seeds sample. Global Crop Diversity Trust, a foundation funded by FAO (Food and Agriculture Organization) and Bio-Diversity International base on Rome, Italy. This building has been built for one year take cost 9,1 million dollars US.
